Waterfront lots. All the way around the lake — Mooresville, Cornelius, Davidson, Denver, Sherrills Ford, Terrell, and Lake Norman of Catawba — homeowners want a fence that keeps pets and kids in without blocking the water. Town vs. county rules. Incorporated towns like Mooresville, Cornelius, Davidson, Huntersville, Troutman, Statesville, and Kannapolis set their own fence and zoning rules. Unincorporated communities like Denver, Sherrills Ford, and Terrell fall under Lincoln or Catawba County instead. We check which rules apply to your address and handle the permit when one is needed.

HOA neighborhoods. Much of the newer construction around the lake is in HOA communities with their own architectural guidelines for fence style, height, and color. We supply the drawings and product spec sheets your committee asks for so approval goes quickly.

Larger and rural lots. North toward Troutman and Statesville and west toward Denver and Sherrills Ford, lots get bigger. Split rail, board, and farm fencing are more common there, often combined with a privacy fence closer to the house.
